Darling Daffodils

This week for My Husband Rocks! I won't have any pictures because my battery died in my camera. But I did want to share with you why my sweet husband most definitely rocks.

Yesterday I woke up with major sinus issues. Sound Man was so sweet to me all day, even calling to check on me throughout the day. When he asked what I had planned for supper (Taco Ring) he told me he would make it when he got home. It helps that it's one of his favorites.

I didn't see him come in when he got home since I was putting a load of clothes up, but when I walked into the kitchen he turned around with a vase full of Daffodils! They were so beautiful and even had a couple of unopened buds that made the whole thing look so gorgeous!

I have the most thoughtful husband. He spoils me rotten and takes such good care of Kiddo and me. Thank you, My Sweet, for being the kind of man that most definitely ROCKS! Who else would take over his wife's blog and tell the world that she rocks? Yeah, that was a surprise, too. He's just full of them.

If you'd like to see where "My Husband Rocks!" started, head over to Katy Lin at The Great Adventure.

He brought you flowers?! That's one good man you've got there.

I think I'm going to stop at a big daffodil patch and get myself some flowers. Ah, well, my man can't be perfect all the time. :)

Wow! Heather what'd you do with that man?! Is he real or do you give him drugs in his food?! I'm kidding!!! I'm gonna have to get Larry to start reading these so he can see what it's all about! LOL! I'm so proud of my little nephew! What a sweetheart! Love, Aunt Lauralu :)

I always forget about fixing Taco Ring...

I have to admit on of my first thoughts was, "Where in the world did he get those daffodils? I know I haven't seen them in their yard? Surely, he didn't get them from another person's yard!" But I know a rockin' man wouldn't do that :) I just love daffodils. They are so cheerful.

Actually I got them from off the side of the road on the way home. I looked for a few miles before I found some that were not in someones yard. I got some weird looks from people, but it was worth it.

He is so sweet. Oh and I'm loving the Taco Ring, I had never heard of that either. I love Pampered Chef but I've never been to a show before I've just ordered out of the book. I have that round stone and now I'm going to have to put that baby to use. Thanks for the recipe.

Aaaawwwww Heathahlee! Not only did he bring flowers home, he had to hunt them down to do it. What a rockin' man! A super rockin' man!

Did you know that if you mow down daffodils that they will not come back? I know. When we moved to this house we had hundreds and hundreds of daffodils. The Bob got tired of mowing around them after the blooms were gone so one day he mowed them down. Fep still longs for the days when our yard was filled with daffodils. I've told her the stories...but I'm not bitter ;)

That is so sweet! I love that he brought you daffodils. And that he took over your blog to rave about you like that. It's always nice hear about good men being good husbands. They don't get nearly enough press in this world. :-)
