Who are you?

I am in the middle of my Jane Austen book-a-thon. I have already read Northanger Abbey, Sense and Sensibility, and Pride and Prejudice, and I'm currently reading Mansfield Park, most definitely the hardest one yet to get through. I enjoyed the others so much I didn't expect to not like this one just as well. It does have it's merits, but there are times when I want to reach in the book and tell Fanny Price to SPEAK UP FOR YOURSELF, NINNY! Ahem...Sorry.

I have seen these buttons around on different blogs and have tried to get through the quiz. Each time I have been interrupted and not been able to finish the quiz. I had a feeling I knew who I would end up being, and I was right. I'm too emotional not to be...

I am Marianne Dashwood!

So if you would like to find out which Austen character you are most like, take the quiz and leave me a comment about it. Or if you don't want to take the quiz and know who you are most like just from reading the books or watching the movies, that's fine too. Or if you don't give a flying flit who you are most like, leave me a comment anyway!

Dear Sister,

Hello - I'm your sister, otherwise known as Elinor Dashwood.

I could have told you yesterday that you were Marianne Dashwood, no doubt about it.

Regarding Mansfield Park, it's my least favorite as well. I do get tired of Fanny Price.

Love you,

Your sensible sister

You know I was just thinking a few minutes ago about your sister. I was wondering who she'd be. I was thinking she'd be Elinor and that she and I were alike. Maybe thats why you love me so ;) Why was I thinking about this stuff...I don't know?

Oh WOW!

Well, first, I know NOTHING about Jane Austen.

But I LOVE your shelf! And I covet your Susie Harris tassel --- when I started blogging, I gave myself the name The Roost'er (loosely - VERY loosely - after The Nester) and since have acquired a serious addiction to roosters.

Thanks for stopping by Missouri today!

I think I know who I am without the quiz.....
I pulled out my Jane Austin last month when I started seeing these buttons. Alas, it still sits untouched. Darn blogs.

This was fun, Heather. I am Elinor, but I've always thought myself an Elizabeth Bennett. Hang on with Mansfield Park. I think it is well worth the effort. It was Northanger Abbey that I struggled with. Even still, I adore all things Jane Austen. I've seen the A&E version of Pride and Prejudice (Colin Firth) so many times, I could act it out! Tina
