Yesterday...

...was bad. Really bad. Bad day in school (for both me and my poor Kiddo...we both ended up crying, and that's putting it mildly), bad day for my sinuses, bad day for Jonathan who peed in the floor twice...I could name a few other things. I was very frustrated. Again, that's putting it mildly.

Then I read this post on Like a Warm Cup of Coffee, guest posted by Lisa at Stop and Smell the Chocolates. It made me realize that I have a job to do, no matter how my day is going. I am the keeper of my home, and for me right now that includes educating my son. Like Lisa says, "This is what God has called me to do." Yep. Yucky Math days and puppy pee and all.

It's a great post, one that I appreciated very much after yesterday. Thanks, Lisa, for the great post as wel as subbing for Sarah! Now, y'all go check it out!

Maybe take a day off of school and watch the Olympics. Consider it a geography lesson...all those different countries you know. Yeah, that's it. Okay, not really. But sorry you had a bad, bad, bad day.

Y'all are so sweet. Yes, we are taking a couple of days of so Kiddo can go to my Mom's for the weekend. We are just going to be running like chickens with our heads off this weekend with the recording and didn't want him to have to suffer through it. Hopefully Monday will be better.

I'm so sorry sweetie. I would take you out for a white chocolate mocha if I could. Sorry it was a bad day. But, you know, it's because you are doing the right thing. So, be thankful for your challenge, it's because you have followed God's call. And the enemy wants you to sing Sunday with a heavy heart. You won't, though, because He has given you joy.

Enjoy your weekend. Enjoy Kiddo. Even enjoy a pee pee puppy. :) Let me know how the recording goes!!

You know when I hear stories like this, it just affirms to me yet again how good God is in providing THE one person that can make us feel better and provide perspective. My husband does the same things yours does, and I feel so grateful everytime. What a blessing it is to have such an awesome husband that cherishes and builds you up. I hope he reads this.

I think its wonderful that you even have the want to edducate your son! And if that comes with its bad days, its a small price to pay for what he will come out with in the end! :) Hang in there, I know your going to do great!!
